Emergency Response

Ramora UK operate our EOD teams via our 24/7 Control Dispatch & Co-ordination centre (C.D.C.C) who are ready to deploy within a moment’s notice to any EOD task, offering expert advice and practical services. This response minimises the effect that an item of ordnance has on a site, keeping the site safe and maintaining commercial continuity.

As well as EOD response, the following specialist teams are also deployed via our 24/7 C.D.C.C:

Underwater Search (ROVs)

Land area Search (ROVs)

High Risk Confined Space Search (HRCSS)

HAZARDOUS ENERGETIC MATERIALS UNIT (HEMU)

The Hazardous Energetic Materials Unit (HEMU) was established to provide a specific level of capability around energetic materials across a range of incidents and locations. Key services offered include:

> Chemical assessment and disposal

> Ordnance and explosive substance disposal

> Search and locate for HAZMAT

> Remote Systems (Fire ROV and observation platforms)

> Chemical spectrometry (Portable)

> Thermal imagery

> Technical services

Deployment of HEMU resources is controlled by our 24hr Control, Dispatch and Co-ordination Centre (CDCC). Access to response services to recognised Emergency Services/Government Agencies is via the CDCC. Reactive callout to ongoing incidents is provided as a complimentary, no charge service to relevant emergency services and other agencies that have registered for the service.

> No contractual obligations & simple enrolment process

> JESIP trained personnel

> Services can operate alongside Police, Fire, Ambulance and Coastguard via Police or Fire callout

> 24 hour control and contact centre (based in Fareham) for management of callout, enquiries and advice

> Reduced response times

> Vehicle trackers and nationwide radio systems (4g) utilised as standard
