SITE SAFETYarch 016
When planning a new construction or civil engineering project, it is imperative to undertake a desktop study of the site in order to determine whether any potential Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) risks may be present.
UXO safety and awareness briefings are essential when there is a possibility of encountering UXO and are vital parts of the general safety requirement. Our Explosive Ordnance Clearance (EOC) Engineers can give UXO safety briefings to site personnel and advise what action should be adopted in order to keep personnel and equipment safe from any potential explosive hazards.
If the risk of UXO is likely, Ramora UK’s EOC Engineers are appropriately qualified and experienced to provide supervision of trenching or bulk excavations. Alongside constant supervision of the site, our EOC Engineers can also advise the client on UXO related issues.
Desk Top Study
Ramora UK can provide a desk based UXO assessment outlining an accurate history of UXO activity, detailed potential hazards and recommendations on how to mitigate against potential threats.
Explosive Ordnance Clearance (EOC) Engineer
Ramora UK can supply an EOC Engineer to oversee ground excavation and provide daily safety briefings and UXO recognition advice.
Toolbox Talks
Our EOC Engineers are available to provide a hands on safety brief at the start of a project or following a personnel change on site, to ensure everyone is correctly informed and what immedate actions should be instigated should the threat of UXO arise.
